Cedarhurst of Bethalto is described as a community that is a reflection of each of its individual residents. ARCH Design supplemented this concept by incorporating a blend of local photography and uplifting colorful prints beautifully framed to accent the interior finishes throughout the space.

The imagery includes photographs of native wildlife, local agriculture and scenes intended to spark fond memories and conversations among residents. The artwork also highlights local points of interest such as the nearby Grafton area and the Mississippi River.

Special care was given when curating artwork for the memory care wing by choosing artwork that conveys a sense of calm and peace. The area features photographic prints due to the benefits of using recognizable imagery for memory care residents as they are less likely to cause confusion.
