Sara oversees ARCH’s team of talented art consultants, ensuring they capture each client’s vision and execute in an efficient and highly communicative manner. By keeping her team updated with the latest trends in art, framing, Evidence-Based Design research, healthcare, senior living, and hospitality, they’re able to produce beautiful art packages catered to each client. In addition to her responsibilities managing the Design Team, Sara also cultivates relationships with local, regional and nationwide artists to expand our comprehensive in-house image library. Sara brings over 15 years of design industry experience and has lead notable projects in commercial interiors. Her background as a designer and artist have contributed to her passion for art and its crucial role in enhancing the built environment. During her time at ARCH, she has seamlessly managed complex nationwide art programs from inception to installation, curated client art catalogs and art standards, as well as commissioned fine art pieces. Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Missouri, and is certified in Evidence-Based Design through the Center for Health Design.
Caroline draws upon her background in graphic design and photography when designing custom artwork packages for healthcare clients. In addition to her contributions on more than 200 renovation projects, Caroline has served as the project manager and art consultant for 12 large-scale healthcare projects totaling nearly 3,000 pieces of art. As an expert in both project management and design, she seamlessly integrates specialized items, which range from decorative wallcoverings to hospital headwall panels, into comprehensive art packages that complement her client’s overarching vision. Her professional and personal qualities shine through in her final projects, which are characterized by bright and uplifting art that is perfectly suited to contemporary healthcare and senior living environments. Caroline earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with an emphasis in graphic design from Webster University, and is certified in Evidence-Based Design through the Center for Health Design.
Kelly is a highly skilled art consultant for both healthcare and senior living environments, and has a great eye for designing cohesive art packages based on impact, touchpoints, color scheme and client vision. In the previous year, Kelly served as the lead designer on 15 large-scale built environment improvement programs. Over the course of these projects she conducted site surveys, created artwork presentations and coordinated featured art installations. Prior to joining ARCH Design, she worked as an interior designer. Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with an emphasis in graphic design from Southern Illinois University and earned her Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Additionally, she is certified in Evidence-Based Design through the Center for Health Design.
Connie Wetmore has been contributing to the design and management of high-end art programs in hospitality, healthcare, corporate, and residential spaces since 2001 when she began her career with Joan Warren-Grady’s Fine Art Advisory in San Diego. Her ability in art consultation is far beyond selecting existing artwork to fit built environments. More so, her strengths are situated in conceptualizing unique, client-driven designs and installations. She communicates the client’s vision, while pragmatically backing collaborative ideas with her extensive project management experience. Clients depend on her knowledge for specific art placement and exceptional eye for color which was proven through her perfect score of ‘0’ (zero) on ‘The Farnsworth-Munsell 100 hue test’. Connie earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Abstract Painting from West Virginia University.
Andrea contributes a deep understanding of how individuals react to artwork of a therapeutic and healing nature. Before joining ARCH, she studied studio art, art therapy and psychology and became familiar with how art impacts healing. She has experience working one-on-one with clients in hospitals, recreational therapeutic groups and retirement communities that specialize in memory care. Andrea always aims to select artwork that is engaging, healing and aesthetically pleasing to all viewers. She was recently the project manager for an expansive hospital refresh totaling nearly 1,200 pieces of art. She continues to work as a studio artist in her free time and believes working as a designer and artist benefit each other immensely by allowing her artwork to grow and projects to become more effective. Andrea earned her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, as well as a certificate in art therapy, from Webster University. Additionally, she is certified in Evidence-Based Design through the Center for Health Design.
As an artist herself, Lacy excels at sourcing regionally specific artwork, as well as identifying and vetting local artists for nationwide projects. Prior to joining ARCH, she worked and studied in a variety of creative industries and spent time working as a production associate in the graphic design industry where she developed a meticulous attention to detail as well as proficiencies in quality control and organization. Lacy’s expertise and wide range of abilities enabled her to become the lead art consultant for clients in senior living, healthcare and commercial interiors. Lacy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with an emphasis in painting from Saint Louis University. She also spent time studying interior design at the Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago. Additionally, Lacy is certified in Evidence-Based Design through the Center for Health Design.
In addition to her full-time role as an art consultant at ARCH Design, Carly works as a contemporary artist and colorist specializing in painting and printmaking. Carly’s work has been featured in group exhibitions and solo shows across North America and is included in private and corporate collections around the globe. Carly earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting, drawing and printmaking, as well as a minor in art history and archaeology, from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to joining ARCH Design, Carly worked at a collaborative printmaking studio and gallery, working one-on-one with nationally recognized artists to create numerous series of artwork.
As a skilled communication specialist with an array of creative talents, Valerie is well suited to functioning in a variety of roles. In addition to developing, monitoring and maintaining company marketing efforts, she also works closely with the Design Team assisting with various graphic design tasks and documenting their latest projects. Valerie travels to local and regional facilities to photograph recent artwork installations for display online and in print materials. Prior to joining ARCH Design, she studied communication strategy with an emphasis in digital media communication. Valerie graduated magna cum laude from Maryville University of St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication.
